- visited people detained by the Ukrainian authorities in connection with the conflict in Zaporizhia, Odessa, Poltava, Kharkiv and Kiev, assessing the treatment they were receiving and the conditions in which they were being held;
- maintained contact with all parties to the conflict on the conduct of hostilities, emphasizing the importance of not attacking civilians or civilian objects;
- provided the Ukrainian Red Cross with supplies and technical support, to help them administer first aid and provide other humanitarian services in emergency situations.
